CALL Wrap-Up Meeting, April 24-25, 2009
The CALL Wrap-up meeting on April 24 and 25, 2009 will be a chance for us to review what we have learned consortially about assessment and to showcase faculty at the four institutions who are using techniques involving assessment in interesting ways. Open to all CALL faculty as well as faculty who have developed an interest in assessment (if you know of anyone who would like to attend, please have them RSVP below).
This meeting will be held at Evans Dining Hall on Carleton's campus (see campus map on home page, or call us at 507-222-4300 for directions). We will begin at 5 PM with social hour, followed by dinner at 6 PM. Lively discussion will ensue.
Saturday will be devoted to faculty presentations of practical applications. We will be featuring teaching techniques which embed assessment and active learning as well as assignments and classroom activities which create the kind of feedback loops which make assessment worth the effort.
All participants will receive a $200 stipend. Transportation and lodging are covered by the grant.
We request that you RSVP by April 17, 2009
