Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI) Info Session: Mathias Bell ’07, Analyst with RMI in Boulder, CO, will talk about a newly created Summer 2010 ENTS/RMI internship for sophomores and juniors.  Thurs., 2/4. 7pm. Leighton 305.

Breakthrough Collaborative Info Session: Learn about summer teaching positions from panel participants during past summers. Michael Johnson’10 and Janelle Washington 10 are the on-campus contacts. Wed., 2/10. 5:30pm. Leighton 330.

Employers include: Admission Possible, Cargill, Fraser, Grassroots Campaigns, Mayo Clinic, Piper Jaffray & Co., Target, Thomson Reuters, UnitedHealth Group, etc.

$10 registration fee and $5 refundable transportation fee.

Register by 5:30pm on Wed., 2/10 in the Career Ctr.

Bus leaves in front of Willis at 9AM. Return around 1pm.

Florida State University – Research Technician: Full-time one year research technician position in the Ecology and Evolution group at Florida State University to assist with greenhouse, lab, and field experiments studying plant-herbivore interactions. The technician will assist with a project characterizing density effects in plant-herbivore interactions for use in plant population models. See http://bio.fsu.edu/~nunderwood/homepage/. Breakthrough Saint Paul Teaching Internship: Breakthrough Saint Paul is looking for a diverse group of college undergraduates to teach at a summer enrichment program for motivated middle school students.  Program runs from June 14 through August 13, 2010; this is a paid internship. Special Olympics (MN) – Summer Sports Camp: is seeking counselors to supervise sports training, afternoon rec activities, and evening fun and games. There is a mandatory training session on 6/10 for the position. Contact Elizabeth Reddall at reddalle@somn.org. Application deadline is 3/1.

City Hall Fellows: is looking for top graduating students to train in their leadership program.
