Carleton College Information for International Students - The employment page at the Carleton International Student Programs site provides information about the types of employment that are permitted with particular visas.

Association for International Practical Training - The AIPT has been devoted for over 50 years to providing international job experience. For international students working the the US, this means sponsoring them for a J-1 Visa and either helping them find employers or helping them with an employer chosen on their own.

Foreign Consular Offices in the US - The US Department of State's listing of Consular Offices across America. A good resource if you require consular assistance.

Jobweb.com's International Student's Guide - This guide outlines a number of challenges international students may find, as well as tips to eliminate those challenges as well as possible.

University of Michigan International Center - This website offers a good selection of Visa and immigration information.

Clark University - Their Career Center has put together a guide for international students in reference to job search issues.

World Student - A resourceful website dedicated to helping students from all parts of the world find study abroad programs and employment. Information on visas, health insurance, accomodations and lifestyle.

H-1B Visa - This is a popular work visa available to foreign nationals who have at least a U.S. Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent and will be working in a job that requires at least a Bachelor's Degree.
