Do you have a big interview coming up? Ace the job interview by being prepared to respond to critical interview questions. You do this by anticipating questions, considering thoughtful and compelling answers, focusing on your accomplishments, asking intelligent questions, and handling the interview situation with ease and confidence. The following are some ideas to help you out.

  • Practice Interviews

    This is of the most valuable interview preparation techniques we offer. Practice interviews allow you to gain interviewing experience, in the safety of the Career Center, before you actually have to interview with the company. This can be a very valuable tool to make interviewing easier and less of a scary experience.
  • Common Interview Questions

    There are questions you can expect to hear during an interview. If you have prepared answers, you will be able to present yourself much better.
  • Dressing For Interviews

    Dress for the part: appropriate dress for interviews and what to bring
  • Research

    The more you know about the company and the position you are applying for, the better. Our research page has some great places to start.
  • Contacting Alumni

    Alums may work for the company where you want to interview. They can help tell you what kind of questions the interviewers may ask, and give you other ideas as well. Come into the Career Center to find out about contacting alums.
