Jack Schuler, father of Tess Schuler Hoffman ’97 and former chair of the Finance and Planning Committee for Carleton’s Board of Trustees, discusses the motives behind the recently-launched Schuler Parent Challenge. Jack and his wife, Renate, have issued a $2 million dollar-for-dollar matching gift challenge to encourage parents of current and past students to support Carleton’s campaign.
