The 12 meal plan offers 12 guaranteed meals per week in either Burton or East Dining Hall in whatever combination the student desires. In addition, $275 in dining dollars is provided for use in the Snack Bar and the dining halls. The 12 meal plan is an alternative to the 20 meal plan for those students who wish to eat fewer meals in the dining halls and more meals in the Snack Bar.

The student who purchases this plan is the only person who may use the meals on the plan. Dining dollars may be used to make purchases for guests. Unused meals do not carry over to the next day, week, or term. Unused dining dollars are also not carried over from term-to-term.
