Headley House
HEADLEY HOUSE
Headley House offers faculty and staff a place during the academic year for collegial discussion, dinners and gatherings, and group meetings. It may be used for departmental and program receptions or retreats, academic celebratory events, etc. It also serves as a residence for distinguished visitors (see Headley Distinguished Visitor-in-Residence).
Guest Rooms
Headley House has two guest rooms located on the second floor:
- Guest Room #1 – Suite consisting of a bedroom with queen-size bed, sitting room and full bath.
- Guest Room #2 – Roomy bedroom with queen-sized bed and full bath.
The nightly rate for either room is $45; appropriate billing information is required at the time room reservations are made. Rooms may be reserved up to six months in advance, and include a light breakfast. There is a small TV in each room, phone (credit card required for long distance), clock radio, hair dryer; and an iron. House quiet hours are from 11 p.m. – 7 a.m. Both the Carleton Policy on Smoking and the Carleton Policy on Pets apply to this residence.
Rooms for Dinners and Gatherings
The first floor of Headley House has a living room, dining room and sun room available for College use. Because these rooms are adjoining, they are reserved as one space. This space is ideal for a dinner or reception. The living room could also be used as a place to hold an informal meeting.
