Retirement
Faculty members retiring from active service may be designated by the Board of Trustees as emeriti members of the faculty, provided that they have completed at least 15 years of service in faculty rank in the College, and have reached the age of 60. Normally emeriti status will be designated only if the faculty members have tenure; however, on the recommendation of the President and Dean of the College, untenured faculty satisfying the other conditions may also be designated as emeriti by the Board.
