21st Century Committee Report

Carleton in the Twenty-First Century
Strengthening Leadership in the Liberal Arts

Report of The Twenty-First Century Committee
May, 1998

A memo from President Lewis introduces the report of the Committee.

Dedication

The members of the Twenty-first Century Committee dedicate this report to the memory of Clement F. Shearer, Dean for Budget and Planning, who died on May 14, 1998, one week before the last meeting of the Committee. Clem's wisdom, balanced perspective, and forward-looking positive view of the world made him an essential member of the Committee and the College. We will miss him.
