Rotary Scholarships

Ambassadorial Scholarships

Purpose: The Ambassadorial Scholarships program offers full support (up to US $23,000) for an entire academic year of study at a foreign institution, and is intended to further international understanding and friendly relations among people of different countries.

For information about eligibility and the application process: See the Ambassadorial Scholarship page of the official Rotary web site. Please note that the lead time for Rotary Fellowships is quite long. The competition which closes on April 1, 2009 is for grants that will be actually awarded for the 2010-2011 academic year.

Peace Scholarships

Purpose: The Rotary World Peace Scholarship offers offer 70 individuals committed to peace and conflict resolution the opportunity to earn a two-year master’s level degree in international studies, peace studies and conflict resolution at one of the Rotary Center’s University partners. Rotary has contracted with seven institutions worldwide to provide this valuable training.
