Researching Fellowships
General Advice
- Web sites put up by the individual fellowships are usually the best source for up-to-date information. Be sure to check Carleton's internal deadline dates if the fellowship requires nomination by the College.
- Print resources in the Dean of the College Office and the Career Center list many potential sources of funding.
- Students interested in careers in teaching at any level should look into the Education Department, Willis Hall 109.
- Consult professors and others with expertise in your area of interest.
- Some resources external to Carleton College are listed here for information. Use them carefully-information may be outdated, and some programs may apply only to students at that particular college or university.
- Note that Carleton’s internal deadlines for fellowships requiring nomination by the College are likely to be different from those set by other institutions, so be sure to check with the Career Center or link to our internal calendar for local information.
