Obtaining Your Room Key:

Upon arrival in Northfield, the guest should come directly to Headley House (815 East Second Street) and ring the bell at the front door or phone the Headley House Manager at Ext. 4079 from the phone in the front entry. The House Manager will issue a set of keys to the guest— one to the front door and one to the guest room. If a guest wishes to phone ahead to arrange an arrival time, the Manager may be reached at 507-222-4079. Though the Headley House Manager lives on the premises, guests should carry their keys with them when leaving the house. Should your keys be lost, notify the House Manager or Security Services (x4444) immediately.

Meals During Your Stay:

Breakfast: Guests are welcome to enjoy a light continental breakfast available each morning in the breakfast room on the second floor of Headley House.

Meals on Campus: Using the Guest Services Card, guests can charge their meals at the dining halls or at the snack bar. A packet containing information regarding these facilities, a campus map, city map and a local business directory will be provided in guest rooms.

Access to Carleton's Recreation Center:

The Guest Services Card also allows guests to access the Carleton Recreation Center. Please visit the Recreation Center's website at http://webapps.acs.carleton.edu/campus/rec/ for an up-to-date schedule of hours and activities.

Other Helpful Information for Headley House guests:

·Check-in time on your scheduled date of arrival is 2:00 p.m.; check-out time is 10:00 a.m.

·Quiet hours in the house are from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

·An iron and ironing board are available for guests upon request.

·Long distance calls from guest rooms require a calling card.

·Headley House is a smoke-free environment.

·Headley House is included in the Carleton no-pet policy.

·We are unable to accommodate children under the age of 15.
