The Catherine E. Boyd Prize in Medieval and Renaissance Studies was established in 2001 by anonymous donors, the prize honors Dr. Catherine E. Boyd, a renowned medieval historian and member of the history fauclty (1947-1966). The prize is awarded for the best research essay in any relevant field.
