The Margaret Dalton Curran Prize was established in 1986 by family and friends of Margaret Dalton Curran ’26, this prize recognizes Curran's lifelong interest in excellent writing that she developed at Carleton. It is awarded annually by the English department faculty to a student submitting the most accomplished academic essay.
