Harriet Sheridan Prize

Pastor Kirbyjon H. Caldwell '75 and his wife, Suzette, established this prize in honor of Harriet Sheridan, former acting president, dean, and professor of English at Carleton, who had a major impact on Pastor Caldwell when he was a student. Additional funding has been provided by John Bullion '74 and his wife Betty. The purpose of the prize is to recognize a sophomore who's qualities are important in defining a Carleton education - in this instance, writing ability.
