Carleton will initiate the background check process by providing your e-mail address to Verifications Inc.  Verifications Inc. will then send you an e-mail which includes a randomly generated access number, applicant code, and a link to a secure Web site where you will complete the background check application form.  The form will ask you for information including personal information, employment history, and academic history.

Please start this process early in order to ensure that the background check is completed prior to your first day of work.
