Carleton College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track appointment in political theory beginning September 1, 2010 at the rank of assistant professor. Ph.D. or its imminent completion is required. The successful candidate will teach introductory, mid- and upper-level courses in political theory and advise students on senior research projects.
Send cover letter describing teaching philosophy and research agenda, vitae, writing samples, sample syllabi, course evaluations from previous teaching, and at least three reference letters by September 21, 2009 to:
