The Department of Economics invites applications to fill a full-time, tenure-track position at the assistant professor level beginning September 1, 2010. Preference will be given to candidates in economic development, but outstanding candidates in all fields will be considered. Applications from candidates interested in area studies and interdisciplinary work are especially welcome. We seek serious interest in and potential for high quality scholarship and a commitment to excellence in teaching a diverse student body in a liberal arts setting. Candidates should have Ph.D. in hand or have made substantial progress toward completion.
