The Department of Economics invites applications to fill a full-time, tenure-track position at the assistant professor level beginning September 1, 2010. Preference will be given to the fields above. We seek serious interest in and potential for high quality scholarship and a commitment to excellence in teaching a diverse student body in a liberal arts setting. This position is a joint appointment with the Environmental Studies Program. Teaching responsibilities will be split between economics and environmental studies, with some courses being listed in both departments. Candidates should have Ph.D. in hand or have made substantial progress toward completion.
