Latin Honors at Graduation

Carleton recognizes outstanding academic performance by noting at commencement those students with a grade point average of 3.25 or better (cum laude), 3.50 or better (magna cum laude), and 3.90 or better (summa cum laude).

Students who receive an asterisk at commencement will not be recognized on the program as receiving Latin honors. When the diploma and final transcript are issued, these honors will be indicated as appropriate.
