Off-Campus Studies

Students interested in off-campus studies must go to the Off-Campus Studies (OCS) office (located in Leighton 119) for information about programs and application procedures. Qualified students may choose among 10-11 Carleton seminars every year; and from many other programs worldwide offered by consortia schools and independent institutions.

Students should start the planning process for an off-campus studies program 2-3 terms prior to actual departure from campus. The Off-Campus Studies office provides advising services, program and planning guides, passport information, student ID cards, and travel information.

Students participating in non-Carleton off-campus studies programs must complete an off-campus study petition, in addition to the program application, 1-2 terms prior to participation in the program. All questions about off-campus studies should be directed to the OCS staff: x4332, Leighton 119.
