The Carleton Bookstore provides goods and services to meet both academic and personal needs. All books requested by Carleton professors for class material are available for each term, both new and used books. The Bookstore tries to make available as many used textbooks as possible. There is a used book buy back at the end of each term as well, which allows students the opportunity to get starter money for next term's books.

The Bookstore maintains a fine selection of over 25,000 titles for general reading in a very relaxed setting. Author 'signings' occur several times a month and the daily New York Times is available over-the-counter or by subscription.

Students can purchase both computer hardware and software at academic pricing at the Carleton Bookstore.

The Carleton Bookstore's other offerings are a large selection of specially designed Carleton clothing, gift merchandise with Carleton emblems including chairs and lamps, personal care products, office supplies, greeting cards and posters, and convenience food items. Photo finishing services and gift-wrapping are also available. For seniors, graduation services include: cap and gown rental, announcements, class rings, and diploma frames.
