Concerns About Flu?
Essentials to know at this time are:
- Carleton, along with most colleges and universities, are seeing a large uptick in influenza-like illnesses for the winter months of 2013.
- Receiving the flu vaccination is still strongly advised. Vaccines are offered through the various health clinics in Northfield. Allina Medical Clinic (507-663-9000), the Family Health Medical Clinic (507-646-1494), and Northfield Urgent Care (507-664-9999) will administer the vaccine, as will local pharmacies (Wal-Greens, Cub Foods).
- All members of the campus community should know the symptoms of influenza and review the CDC's prevention tips.
