About Baghdad documents the city after decades of oppression, war, sanctions, and occupation. Shot a few months after the arrival of American troops, the film is a mosaic of opinions, perspectives, desires, and memories that offers a more complex picture than the limited one presented by mainstream U.S. media.
Cosponsored by the Carleton Film Society.
