I am originally from Annapolis, Maryland and came to Minnesota for college.I have a BA in Philosophy from Gustavus Adolphus College, an MS in Women's Studies from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and an MA in Counseling and Student Personnel Psychology from the University of Minnesota. I am currently pursuing my doctorate in Education Policy and Administration at the University of Minnesota, working on my dissertation on the potential use of restorative justice with cases of sexual misconduct on campus. I have worked at Carleton since 1999 and live in Northfield.

I'm originally from Nebraska but am enjoying my time in Minnesota. I have a BS in Biology and a MA in Higher Educational Administration with a Specialization in Student Affairs from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I am beginning my second year at Carleton and, in addition to my work in the Gender and Sexuality Center, currently serve as a Hall Director in our Office of Residential Life.  My role in the GSC primarily centers around LGBT programming and events.

Hi all! I'm Qwill and I love life. It's pretty much the best thing ever! I also love laughing, hugging, swing dancing, Star Trek, and running around in billowy cloaks. Oh hey! I'm Brit, and I'm a CAMS major from the Southside of Chicago. I'm really into DJing, music, radio, queer theatre, thrifting, and slam poetry. At the GSC, I work on the H.O.T.S.E.X. workshop, Gender 101, coordinate LGBTQA panels, and help plan all the LGBTQ events on campus. Outside of the GSC, you can catch me on the rugby pitch, with the Carleton Slam Poetry Collective, on KRLX, or in Casa del Sol. I've always been a fan of thunderstorms (and tracking the NOAA forecasts), artsy things (but I don't have near the artistic ability that my mom has), and The Cranberries (enough parenthetical digressions!). I coordinate the Queer Peers program, create and build LGBTQ programming/events, and I'm also president of the Carleton Student Association. At first, I was pretty scared to come into the GSC. However, since first walking in during New Student Week, I have only felt welcomed by the staff and other students. You should come in, too, and talk to me, if you like! I'm always up for meeting people, whether I'm answering questions on queer issues or just saying hello.

I'm a sophomore from rural Minnesota who likes a lot of things and hates writing about himself but has to. I'm a senior from Seattle, Washington with a passion for desserts, list-making, sweaters, personality tests (I'm an ESFJ), and social justice. My involvement with the GSC often conveniently combines my interests, which is just one of the many things I love about it. This year I'm working on HCR, coordinating FemSex, and revising sexual misconduct website. I'm also a member of CAASHA, Collective for Women's Issues, and the Carleton women's ice hockey team.
