Not On Our Campus

Everyone wants a safe campus, right? A few years ago, a group of concerned students organized against instances of sexual violence at Carleton and created a movement called “Not on our Campus” to express the idea that Carleton should be a place free of sexual violence.
Sexual misconduct isn’t something that only happens between strangers. In fact, it happens mostly between acquaintances, it happens to both men and women, in same-sex relationships as well as heterosexual relationships. In this 2010 New Student Week program, current Carleton students shared stories and advice and discussed how sexual violence affects members of our community and what we can do about it.
