Preliminary presidential election results in Haiti
April 4, 2011 at 9:10 pmAccording to preliminary election results released today, flamboyant carnival musician Michel Martelly beat Haitian first lady Mirlande Manigat in the presidential runoff vote held last month, receiving 67.6% of votes while Manigat received 31.5%.

US troops arrive in Haiti
