2010 Open Enrollment

Please mark your calendars to attend one of the Open Enrollment meetings scheduled in November.  During these meetings, we will explain the medical and dental plans and premium changes for 2010. 

The dates and times of Open Enrollment meetings are as follows:

Wednesday, November 18, 2009:                      6:00-7:00 p.m.

Tuesday, November 24, 2009:                            8:30-9:30 a.m.

**All meetings will be held in the Alumni Guest House (AGH) Meeting Room.**

In continuation of our College’s “green” initiative, our employees will be required to enroll or waive their benefit election coverage for 2010 electronically through our on-line enrollment tool (benefitsCONNECT).  Instructions on how to complete the Carleton benefits enrollment will be presented during our Open Enrollment meetings. 

As with this past year, we will be offering the utilization of a helpful, user-friendly tool that can assist our employees in determining their choice in medical plan.  This Health Plan Selector Tool for 2010 will be available by early November, 2009 and can be found on the Benefits page of the Human Resources website (in the blue “Related Documents” box on the right-hand side of the page). 

Valuable information will be shared during these meetings; we encourage your participation and look forward to seeing you there!

Please Note:
Employees will be required to complete the Open Enrollment process by December 1, 2009.

For those unable to attend an Open Enrollment meeting, please view the following documents to help support you through the Open Enrollment process and specific information relating to benefits for 2010.  Should you have specific questions and would appreciate a personal meeting, the following Human Resources representatives will be available for appointments:

Employees are required to elect their choice in medical insurance for 2010; all other benefits you have elected (from 2009) will carry forward into 2010 within (benefitsConnect).  Should you wish to discontinue any of these other plans, you will need to specifically waive them.
