benefitsCONNECT: On-Line Benefit Enrollment
Enrollment for most Carleton College benefits are now secured through benefitsCONNECT an on-line enrollment process. Please click here for the instructions on how this process works. Employees will be required to sign up for their benefits, utilizing our on-line benefits enrollment site (benefitsCONNECT).
Newly hired employees will be provided instructions on how to move forward with the on-line enrollment process.
- For new employees, your user name is made up of the first six letters of your last name, followed by your first initial of your first name and the last four numbers of your social security number. Your password is a combination of your full date of birth (month, day, year) with the last four digits of your social security number.
John Johnson with social security number 123-45-6789 and date of birth of January 5, 1976.
John's username would be: johnsoj6789
John's password would be: 010519766789
**You will have the opportunity to change your password after you have logged in.
Should you have any questions about annual (or new hire) enrollment, your benefit options, or logging in to the online enrollment site, please contact Human Resources.
- For those that have experienced a qualifying life event, please recognize that you will be unable to implement any benefit enrollment or termination changes on your own. You will need to communicate your situation and provide substantiation within 30 days of the qualifying life event to the Benefits Coordinator or Manager; once verified, you will receive direct support in making benefit changes. For further information, please review the specifics on qualifying life events, which will provide information on required documents for the substantiation process.
