Long-Term Disability

Long-term disability insurance is voluntary and is available to regular, benefit-eligible employees. This program (provided through The Hartford), in combination with Social Security and/or Workers’ Compensation, will provide a disabled participant 60% of salary up to a maximum of $10,000 per month beginning with the fourth month of disability. This benefit is coordinated with Social Security disability benefits. The College and the employee share in the after-tax premium by each paying half of the total premium.
