Emeriti Retirement Health Solutions
Carleton College has made the decision to dissolve the Emeriti Retirement Health Solutions Plan effective December 31, 2009. This decision was approved by the Board of Trustees on May 16, 2009, in order to balance the budget.
Employees who are age 65 and will be retiring before December 31, 2009, can still elect to enroll in an Emeriti Retirement health insurance plan. To enroll, please call 1-866-363-7484 (Emeriti Call Center). Please note that you must be enrolled in Medicare, Parts A and B prior to enrolling in an Emeriti health plan.
We are pleased to inform you that effective January 1, 2010, Carleton College retirees who are currently covered under an Emeriti Retirement health insurance plan through HealthPartners, will have the opportunity to continue their health insurance coverage directly through HealthPartners.
