Financial Planning Reimbursement
Carleton College encourages long-range financial planning and offers reimbursement for costs incurred for financial planning advice provided by a certified financial planner, accountant, attorney or other planning professional.
Employees who work half-time or more for six continuous years may receive up to $150.00 and then at age 50 or more, may receive up to another $150.00 for a total of $300.00. Those who have reached the age of 50 with one year of service may receive up to $300.00 immediately.
Employees may apply for reimbursement by completing an application and presenting a paid receipt from the professional financial advisor for costs associated with long-term financial planning advice to Human Resources.
Retired employees, who have not previously used this benefit, may apply for reimbursement within one year of their retirement date.
