What are a few of your extracurricular activities at Carleton?

I am involved in KRLX, KSA, and Samulnori(performing about 2 to 3 times a year).

Song you play (or movie you watch/ or book you read/ etc.) over-and-over? Why?

One of the book I read over and over again is "Narcissus and Goldmund" by Hermann Hesse. It is my favorite book. I think the book touches on almost all possible themes in life: life, death, love, longing, striving, etc. Whenever I read it, I feel that it is okay to sometimes wander and take risks in life.

Any special talents (walking the tight-rope, juggling fire, etc.)?

I don't know if I have any evident special talents, but I've been told that I have a great ability to sympathize with others. I think I can relate to others and their problems on a very personal level, and because of this, many of my friends come to be for advice.

What's the one thing you're glad you brought for your first term? Why?

I am really glad that I brought a box of cards/letters I received from my family and friends. At the beginning of the term, I usually put them up on my wall to remind myself that all these people love me and care for me.
