What are a few of your extracurricular activities at Carleton?

CAASHA (Campus Advocate Against Sexual Harassment and Assault), convocation regular, social justice junkie.

Song you play (or movie you watch/ or book you read/ etc.) over-and-over? Why?

Currently my song of the moment is "Miss it So Much" by Lykke Li. It sounds so magical and nostalgic and is definitely the song of my summer.

Any special talents (walking the tight-rope, juggling fire, etc.)?

Eating capacity! I think one of my family traditions is to unintentionally bankrupt "All-U-Can-Eat" businesses (especially sushi).

What's the one thing you're glad you brought for your first term? Why?

Open heart + humility. If you're used to being the best where you are, it might help to recognize that everyone is the best in their own way. There are lots of very intelligent people here and it helps to remind yourself that you too are unique; but only in the same way that everyone else is!
