This page was opened March 1, 2004, and as yet contains only limited information. As the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment moves into web publishing of its work, the information available on this site will expand greatly.

A major report is published here: the 2004 report to the Admissions and Financial Aid Committee (AFAC) regarding outcomes through 2002 of Carleton's practice of need-sensitive admission. Notes on this report:

(1) You will need your standard Carleton College login ID and password to access this document.

(2) The report contains links to 59 graphs (and two supporting documents) that provide detailed visual presentations of the findings from this important study.

(3) When you first link to any graph, it will appear in a new window, in a small sized version. This small version may be sufficient to view the information displayed by the graph. Other graphs will be too small to do so. Any graph can be displayed in full screen size by clicking on the full page size icon for its window.

(4) When finished viewing a graph, close its window to return to the report, and to keep from having over 60 open windows by the time you finish reading the report.

(5) You may print the full text of this report in hardcopy if you like.
