Enrollment Summary Fall Term
These are the enrollment figures reported to the federal government on the annual IPEDS Enrollment reports, as well as to the Minnesota state government, those provided to college guidebooks on the Common Data Set (CDS), and to a large number and variety of other external agencies. The headcount of full-time degree-seeking students is typically used for nearly all official enrollment reporting, internal and external.
These Enrollment Summaries, all as of Fall Term, are based on data compiled for the Enrollment Census Reports for Fall Term of each year below. They reflect Carleton's enrollment figures as of its official census date. All students reported are full-time, degree-seeking undergraduates (all special students excluded), and all such students are reported here. These counts include students studying on-campus in Northfield, as well as those enrolled in any off-campus study programs.
These enrollment figures provide breakdowns of student counts by class (Fr, So, Jr, Sr), by race/ethnic background, and by gender.
