Thank you to so many of you who took the time in January to respond to the MISO survey. From your participation, we have a wealth of data to interrogate as part of our strategic planning process. The MISO organization has provided our campus' results to us (responses from faculty, students, and non-library/non-ITS staff) and will soon provide comparative information from the other 39 institutions that participated this year. We anticipate sharing more detailed results with the campus at large together with the library this fall.
While we do not yet have all the data and haven't begun intensive analysis, a preliminary look at Carleton's responses reveals three areas that were ranked high in importance but low in satisfaction: Moodle, WiFi, and The Hub. These indicate priorities for our work even before an extensive analysis of the survey data is complete.
We look forward to diving into the data over the summer and integrating our MISO findings with the other information we have gleaned over the course of the strategic planning process.
