Introduction to iBooks and iBooks Author
Apple Education staff will demonstrate iBooks and iBooks Author at St. Olaf.

Are you interested in learning how to use the iBooks app to read eTexts on the iPad? Have you considered creating your own eText with the iBooks Author software for Mac? Please join us for a presentation about the many uses for the iBooks app in higher education, and about the innovative eTexts being created by faculty using iBooks Author software.
Apple Education staff Jacob Dekkenga and Michael McGraw will demonstrate the unique features of iBooks, including embedded audio and video, dynamic graphs and charts, and interactive quizzes and flashcards, and more. Then, they will show the process of making professionally designed documents, such as syllabi and articles, as well as creating interactive, multimedia eTextbooks, all using iBooks Author.
If you would like a ride to St. Olaf, a van will be leaving from the front of Sayles at 3:00 pm.
The van will be returning to Carleton at about 5:00 pm.
