Lunch session for technology strategic planning
Help formulate a strategy for guiding ITS during the next 3 years.
After setting goals and conducting a lengthy review process, we are now ready to formulate a strategy for guiding ITS during the next 3 years. A matrix of organizing principles and potential initiatives are available for discussion. An open session has been scheduled for Olin 141 from 12-1 pm on Thursday, April 10th. Lunch will be provided for the first 30 people.
Chief Technology Officer Janet Scannell has been working on this process since she started one year ago. This document is intended to convey areas with the greatest sense of urgency, feasibility and broadest benefit using information that has been gathered to date. This draft is being shared with the Carleton community in order to confirm alignment with needs and to identify gaps or misalignments that need to be addressed as the plan is developed. Faculty, staff, and students are all encouraged to attend. In mid-April, a visiting committee will also be on campus to facilitate small-group conversations about the proposed topics and a process for technology decision-making.
We hope that you will be able to take advantage of this opportunity to share your thoughts and ideas. If this time doesn’t work with your schedule, please send your thoughts directly to Janet at firstname.lastname@example.org.
