ITS maintains a number of access points where members of the Carleton community can use our network over a wireless connection.

Map Notes:

Coverage areas indicated are approximate, and do not necessarily reflect exact distribution of access points.

A valid Carleton network account is required for use of these access points: if you attempt to connect with a computer that has not previously been used on our network, you will have to supply your username and password to gain access. Open your web browser and request a web page to start the registration process.

Mudd Hall: Mudd has fairly complete coverage on Ground, 1st and 2nd floors. Service is also available in the Mudd-Olin connector.

Olin Hall: Classroom coverage is provided in G02, G04, and 102. Additional coverage is on 1st for the Psychology common spaces, on 2nd for the Advanced Physics labs and Physics common spaces, and on 3rd near faculty offices and common spaces.

CMC: CMC has nearly complete coverage on all floors.

Willis Hall: Willis has coverage on all floors, with weakest service to 4th.

Boliou: Coverage to the first floor common area and some faculty offices.

Old Music Hall: Coverage to the Music listening room/common study area and some addition spaces on the first floor.

Leighton: Nearly complete complete coverage on 2nd and 3rd floors.

LDC: Focused coverage on the departmental and common spaces on 2nd and 3rd floors (with a reasonable amount of classroom coverage as well), along with additional coverage in the East Dining and 104 (classroom) spaces on the 1st floor.

Laird: Coverage to the English dept, common space on 3rd.

Gould Library: Coverage to most of 4th/5th floors, as well as partial coverage on 3rd and 2nd.

Severence Hall: Service in the Great Hall

Alumni Guest House/Johnson House: Coverage in the AGH meeting room and Library, as well as the upstairs guest rooms. Coverage extends to portions the Johnson House 1st/2nd floor offices.

Rec Center: Coverage to the lobby seating area in the Rec Center.

Goodhue: Coverage is provided in the Super Lounge.

Burton Hall: Coverage to West Dining.

West Gym: Coverage focused on the offices, meeting and lobby space.

Sayles-Hill: Coverage is primarily focused on common spaces (Great Space, SH-160/161, Hill Lounge). Coverage extends to the SH-25x classrooms/meeting rooms.
