Alumni Computing Support

ITS provides several computing services to Carleton alumni, to help ease the transition into the post-Carleton world and to provide ways of keeping in touch with other alumni and the Carleton community.

Some of these services require logging in. If you don't have your username and password, try the Password Recovery Page or contact the Alumni Affairs Office at alumni-office@carleton.edu or 1-800-729-2586.

2008 Grads -- Review the letter we sent you for information about your alumni account.

Alumni Forwarding Addresses

ITS provides permanent forwarding email addresses for Carleton alumni. These are not accounts where mail can be stored, but merely a forwarding service attached to your name. You can set up an alumni forwarding address and have email which is sent to that address redirected to your current address. That way you have an unchanging address you can give to people even if your actual email address changes.

Alumni forwarding addresses have the form:

FirstName.LastName@alumni.carleton.edu or

FirstName.MI.LastName@alumni.carleton.edu

Setting up an alumni forwarding address

Current seniors or alumni wishing to change or create alumni forwarding addresses can do so by logging in to the Forwarding Address Form.

If you have trouble using the form, write to forwards@alumni.carleton.edu. If you don't know your username and password, contact the Alumni Affairs Office at alumni-office@carleton.edu or 1-800-729-2586 and ask for your Alumni Directory login information.

Alumni Caucus Access

Caucus (caucus.carleton.edu) is Carleton's web-based discussion space, the successor to VAX Notes (or Forum, if you're even older). It hosts several hundred conferences on a wide range of topics.

All alumni have access to Caucus using the same credentials you use for the Alumni Directory. Just connect to caucus.carleton.edu and log in.

Other Alumni Computing Services

Password changing and other account services are available from the ITS Accounts Page.

In addition to these services, ITS works with the Alumni Affairs Office to provide other resources such as the Alumni email discussion group. See the Alumni Affairs Alumni Connections page for more information.
