New Student Information
Welcome! Though you probably won't arrive on campus until September, you’re now officially a part of Carleton's online community. The following pages correspond to the various steps outlined in the Computing at Carleton document which you should have received recently in the mail.
There are five sections for you to review which cover a range of topics. Section 1 – Logging In is the most important as it explains how to reset your initial, temporary password. The remaining sections provide some further information on topics ranging from choosing a computer to some of the resources available online via the Carleton network.
Important Note:
The password you were sent in the initial mailing is temporary has a limited number of uses, so you should change it as soon as possible. If you don’t change your password, it will stop working and you will be unable to access many of the online resources you will need during the summer.
If this happens, please contact the Student Computing Information Center (below) and have your initial password to hand.
