The Carleton College Library has been a member of the Federal Depository Library Program for U.S. government publications since 1930. Over 300,000 printed items are shelved in compact shelving on Level 1, arranged by U.S. Superintendent of Documents Classification System. Several hundred microform publications are in microform cabinets on Level 3. These documents are available for use by the general public.
