Print Periodicals

Current Subscriptions

Current Periodicals (issues published within the past few months to a year) are shelved on the east end of 4th Level adjacent to the Circulation/Reserve Desk. Approximately 1,458 periodical titles are represented, shelved alphabetically by title.

Back Issues

Bound back issues of periodicals are arranged in Library of Congress call number order in the compact shelving on 3rd Level. Additional periodicals (film and fiche) are housed in the Microform Collection on Level 3. Among these are: American Periodicals Series (APS). This collection is comprised of three sections that collectively included more than 1,100 periodicals with publishing dates ranging from 1741 to 1900. This collection is cataloged within Bridge. An online version is also available.

Newspaper Collection

The Library subscribes to 29 print newspapers that are housed in low shelves on 4th Level Southeast. Printed indexes to newspapers are shelved in the Reference Collection.

Back issues of newspapers are on microfilm and are housed in the Microform Collection on Level 3.
