Kristin Partlo and Danya Leebaw were part of a panel, Fast & Fun: Tech Topics for Libraries, at Minnesota's Library Technology Conference at Macalester College. Kristin discussed mindmapping concepts and tools, and Danya shared information on Jing, a screencapture software.

Iris presented "Information Literacy for A&I" at the Argument & Inquiry Seminar Winter Workshop. At this workshop she acted as the voice of the Reference & Instruction department, who collectively came up with the key principles that they wanted to convey to the workshop participants.

Collaboratively, Hsianghui with two co-writers, Jane Costanza (Trinity College) and R. Cecilia Knight (Grinnell College), had an article in the Journal of Library Metadata, v.9, no.1-2 (September 2009); the title is "Metadata implementation for building cross-institutional repositories: lessons learned from the Liberal Arts Scholarly Repository (LASR)."

Iris presented a talk with Aaron Albertson at the Minnesota Oberlin Reference group's Mini-Immersion event. The talk was called "Changing Paradigms: Shifting the Emphasis from Teaching to Learning."
