Carol E. Eyler, Head of Technical Services, presented an invited one-day workshop on “Library Binding: Principles and Practices” for staff in the Preservation Directorate at the Library of Congress on September 28, 2010. The purpose of the workshop was to review book structures used in twentieth and twenty-first century publishers’ bindings, commercial library binding options and operations, treatment decision-making, and quality assurance.

Iris presented "Information Literacy for A&I" at the Argument & Inquiry Seminar Winter Workshop. At this workshop she acted as the voice of the Reference & Instruction department, who collectively came up with the key principles that they wanted to convey to the workshop participants.
