Cinema and Media Studies: Roadtrip 2009

Cinema and Media Studies Roadtrip 2009

In the spring of 2009, the Cinema & Media Studies Off-Campus Studies Program – The New Media Roadtrip – spent ten weeks in New York, Rome and Prague. Along the way, students made photographs, either on their own or as part of specific assignments.

These images were assembled during the trip into five books for on-demand publishing. With the growth of digital photography and on-line publishing, students are now able to bridge the gap from image-makers to image-publishers.

Students on the program included:
Kristen Asp, Paul Carpenter, Alexander Cooney, Dylan Frazao, Megan Hafner, Sung Hyo Kim, Gabriel Loeb, Garbo Loo, William O’Brien, Henry Moskowitz, Caleb Santangelo, Sam Scherf, Lisa Short, Jameson Siegert, Max Silver, Elizabeth Tan, Kaitlin Trenerry, Mateo Trujillo, Ezra Velazquez, Janae Walton-Green, Ally Weaver, Cathleen Wolf, Teddy Wolff, Kale Zicafoose

Program Director: Professor John Schott
