Join us this Thursday, May 17 for Drop Everything and Read Carleton! Noon to 1 on the Bald Spot. Rain location is the Weitz Cafe.
Come for 5 minutes, stay for the whole time… Bring something non-required to read — a book, a magazine, etc.
Need a book? Stop in the library to pick up something fun to read. A couple of good places to browse are:
Athenaeum
- Current Reading Room Collection: Current reading material of broad scope and general interest that does not necessarily relate to the college curriculum. New titles are added to the collection throughout the year.
Rookery
- Hubbs Paperbacks: A mystery and science fiction collection. These don't need to be checked out, and their return is on the honor system. New material is periodically added to the collection and out-of-date materials removed.
- Children's Books: Children's books, selected by Carleton students.
- Rookery Journals: A small collection of journals that are good for browsing.
