Outgoing Letters

The Campus Post Office and Mailing Services work together to handle the College's outgoing mail.


Mail placed in an official mail stop's "Outgoing Campus Mail" tray will be picked up by a Campus Post Office student employee during each regular mail delivery route:

  • Mail will return to the Campus Post Office.
  • Mail requiring postage or department charges will be delivered to Mailing Services the same day.
  • Mail with postage already applied will be delivered to Mailing Services the same day.
  • Mailing Services will deliver all outgoing mail to the Northfield Post Office at 4 p.m.

Mail picked up from an official mail stop's "Outgoing First Class Mail" tray or bin will be picked up by a Mailing Services student employee during the established daily First Class pick up route :
  • Mail will be delivered directly to Mailing Services.
  • Mailing Services will apply postage and process department charges for College mail.
  • Mailing Services will deliver all outgoing mail to the Northfield Post Office at 4 p.m.
