Students Can Get Help Day and Night With Lost or Disabled OneCard

LOST OneCard Instructions

  1. Mark your OneCard LOST on the OneCard Dashboard. This will suspend library and lab printing privileges, deactivate building access, and freeze financial funds in your accounts (Schillers, Dining Dollars, and Meal Plan). NOTE: You will be held responsible for financial transactions that occurred prior to marking your card lost on this web site.
  2. Visit Campus Services, Monday - Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. in Sayles-Hill 5. A new OneCard will be issued and a $10 replacement fee will be charged to your (student) Schillers account.

    After 5:00 p.m. and on weekends, students should call Security Services (507-222-4444) in Sayles-Hill 205 to obtain a temporary access card. Your temporary access card will grant you access to the Residence and Dining Halls for a limited time. You will have access to a temporary Meal Plan during academic terms. You will be billed for meals used outside of your existing Meal Plan.
    Visit Campus Services the next business day to get a replacement OneCard.

  3. Mark your OneCard ACTIVE on the OneCard Dashboard to restore access to your funds, library and lab printing privileges and building access privileges.

If you find your OneCard prior to receiving a replacement card, you must take the following steps:

  1. If you obtained a temporary access card from Security Services, you must visit Campus Services (Sayles-Hill 5) first thing the next morning, or Monday a.m. if the temporary card was issued over the weekend. Bring your temporary access card with you. If you have not found your original OneCard, a new OneCard will be issued and a $10 replacement fee will be charged to your Schiller Account.
  2. Mark your OneCard ACTIVE on the OneCard Dashboard. This will restore your library and lab printing privileges, restore access to your financial funds, and restore building access privileges.

        Note:  Lost cards can not be reactivated once a replacement card has been created.


DISABLED OneCard Instructions

  • Visit Campus Services, Monday - Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. in Sayles-Hill 5. Staff can determine the problem and advise you of your options. 

        OR

  • After 5:00 p.m. and on weekends, students should contact Security Services (507-222-4444) in Sayles-Hill 205 to obtain a temporary access card. Your temporary access card will grant you access to the Residence and Dining Halls for a limited time. You will have access to a temporary Meal Plan during academic terms. You will be billed for meals used outside of your existing Meal Plan. Visit Campus Services the next business day to resolve your OneCard issue before the temporary access card is deactivated.

     Note:  Negative Schillers balance is not permitted.  If Schillers account goes negative your OneCard will be disabled until you add funds to maintain a minimum balance of $0.00.
