PEPS audio/visual support for events:
From a simple podium with a microphone to a complex event with multiple projectors, PEPS staff will help you to identify technologies to support or record your events. We will coordinate and deliver appropriate equipment and assistance.
PEPS media coverage of events:
With its rich calendar of events and performances, Carleton is a regional cultural center. PEPS will continue to expand the tradition of recording Carleton events for dissemination via video, audio, DVD, and the web.
PEPS supports many different types of internet video conferencing. Skype is only one of the ways that we can assist with bringing others to campus for meetings from afar. We are also excited to offer three Skype Rooms on campus. Two are in the Weitz Center for Creativity, and one is in the Willis 114 classroom. If you would like to bring a visitor to campus for a class or a meeting without them even leaving the comfort of home, Skype could be the way to do this. If you do not have your own Skype account, we offer the use of PEPS Carleton accounts, and we would be happy to help you set up your own.
Requests for technology support at campus events can be made directly to PEPS via our online request forms. Please do not call us. The forms are the preferred method of event equipment setup requests. Please allow at least 48 hours between the time of the request and the scheduled start of the event.
Make sure that all necessary room requests, and set-up requirements have already been arranged with Campus Services (telephone:x7185, online reservations). Also make sure you've completed a Set Up Request Form.
